We’ve completed a brand identity and visual toolkit for a new digital platform specialising in academic publishing

Veri Xiv BRAND IMAGE blog oct 2024

Our client F1000 (part of Taylor & Francis) have partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop and launch a new product. VeriXiv is a verified preprint platform for academic publishing which will enable the rapid availability of new findings and promote research integrity.

Working closely with the internal marketing team and following an immersive approach to the creative process, the new VeriXiv brand was developed and finalised.

Both the wordmark and symbol are bespoke forms that reflect the new platforms core purpose – to provide a positive and open environment for academic preprints.

The VeriXiv platform now has a visual toolkit that unifies all aspects of the visual identity. The design team have introduced and developed a font family which shares typographic similarities to the custom wordmark, a flexible colour system, a dynamic graphic toolset and a versatile approach to photography which reflects the human endeavour to share knowledge.

The platform was successfully launched this year.
